ABOUT WILLIAM BRUST

I am a writer. A storyteller. A geek. A total goof. And a professional.

I understand the challenges nonprofits face—limited capacity, pressure to scale, and the constant need to prove your impact. That’s where I come in. I help nonprofits develop competitive grant proposals, craft compelling content, and build systems for data that donors trust.

And I write without AI, for the most part. I enjoy writing, so why would I outsource the creative process to a machine?

My work is centered on helping nonprofits move from reactive to strategic fundraising.

Grant Writing & Fund Development:

I research, write, and submit grants that align with your mission, programs, and funder priorities. I also help you map out a strategic grant calendar which you will have access to at all times. All clients have my cell phone. It's right there at the bottom. Feel free to call.

Content Development & Communications:

Whether it's an annual report, donor one-pager, or case for support, I help translate your impact into powerful, clear language that motivates action.

Data Management & Impact Reporting:

I support organizations in collecting, organizing, and reporting data to meet funder requirements and tell a more complete story of their work.
